Back Again! Maybe

I'm still a procrastinating, conniving etc etc etc kind of person. I put myself up to task and still nothing to show for my 'new found commitment to always blog'. Nothing. Nada. Zilch additional posts since my previous post.

How can someone else trust me to give results yet I cannot honour my own pledges?

*slaps self severally, then resumes …*

As I pen this (or is it 'put my touchscreen to task.. but do I say #teamAndroid'. Ha! ), I'm swinging on my campus room seat,  music blaring at near 100dB levels, staring at my meds and musing over this chic I know.

She reminds me of nothing in particular. Just a regular girl,  celebrity dreams. You should see her.

Always got a tonne of make up on, or not.  Walks around like she runs the place, or not.  People don't like her that much, apparently. But that's them.

If you ask me about her I wouldn't say much. Was told not too run my mouth. Causes trouble when I do.

But on the low though,  she can get it. That, and a bag of handkerchiefs. She might get all teary eyed and such.

Or maybe she might go like, "Sam you shouldn't say that. You're too young,  for me…"

So,  anyway, that is all for my first post about nothing.

Thanks for being a good sport.

Procrastinators, Vote Me President. NOW!

I Sam Mu vow to act diligently, forthright & without bias if you vote me in as president my fellow procrastinators. I will be tomorrow's leader, coz today am just not up to the task.. ;-)

Seriously though, out with the BS [BS for biological system if you mind]. I signed up to Blogger quite some time past, close to 790 days ago today, yet this is only my THIRD post.

Surely, I deserve to be the president of the Procrasti-public, if you may.

That's no post for the whole of 2010, despite how fabulous it was.
That's no written memoir of the joys, let-downs and moments of brilliance.
That's a new definition of writer's block, or it's misunderstanding.

Nonetheless, am back to it now. Who knows for how long.
& no, it wasn't one of my MMXI resolutions to get back to it. I'm too spontaneous to make new year resolutions.

I won't promise to always blog, but I don't want to be a leader of tomorrow.

With that, I bow out from the procrastinator's presidential race.

Join me in being pro-active

O Nana, what's your name?

No Nana, I didn't forget my name this time, I forgot yours.

See, I got alot on my brain; formulae, methods & procedures[btw, what's the difference between the two?], class timetables, climate seasons and such, that make it hard for me.

If, for each of my 250 classmates I was to get an additional day on Earth, I would have less than two extra living-months..

Worse still, I can't remember this fellow's name. Yes, the one every thinks I'm tight with coz we're always chatting. The one that helps me out with Mathematics and I ditto with Calculus. He who hardly passes by with atleast a nod of the head for a greeting. Yes, he that is my classmate.
But neither does he recall my name. We just respond to the title 'engineer'.
How un-mannered of us!

I'd be damned if I forgot my ex-girl's name, or my girl's middle name. My Ex forgot my middle name, and that's why she's in the past. Right? Wrong.

Nana, the point is, I'm sorry that I got alot in my brain that I forgot your name. But the experiences we shared are remembered instead. Probably.

So allow me to re-introduce myself: "I'm Sam, so, Nana, what's your name?"

Lions, Tigers and Bears

I honestly do hope you haven't ever heard of this particular blog's title, and if you have, well, just dont tell Jazmine Sullivan of how much she inspires me.

Anyhow, as she says, lions, tigers nor bears don't give her the chills, but loving a particular person does scare her. For me, I would say that, half-heartedly of course, since it isn't just a matter of fear.
For me it is foresight that makes me hide my tail the way Omar my cousin's late dog used to do.
For me, it is a different kind of fear, a fear brought about by mere pessimism, and maybe, but not totally, commitment phobia.

But that is a story to be pursued in later blogs. For now, I have to step into the bloggers world with this being my virgin blog, or first blog for those of us who are language conscious...

Even at this random hour, I am still fully aware of my surrounding, right behind me, Joshu is dozing off on his computer's keyboard, Johnson must have scampered to some actual dreamland since he is not in view, while I sit and make my keyboard keys work overtime, while keeping tabs on my Facebook profile for any late-night chat. And for a starter, I pat myself on the back for getting thru my initial blog in under 15 mins!
